No Fuel, No Fish!
Thousands of fisherman from Spain, Portugal and Italy have gone on strike to join
other European protests against soaring fuel prices.
I'm with them... Until the strikes goes on, I'm cutting the pleasures of sushi.

Tension!
I never was a person that followed sport. I don't really like football, I find interesting to watch a basketball match but not more than 15 min. I never was into, golf, tennis, F1 our Rallies, NADA! But I have to say as a Lisbon citizen and African, I got upset with the cancellation of the Lisbon Dakar 2008. Where will this war take us? Politics, Religion, now Sports and after that culture? Soon it will be impossible for artists to travel and to promote their craft abroad. It will be considered anti Islam to have artists like Maalouma or Youssou N'dour to perform in the west to an infidel audience.

Sad News! Marina left Bonde do Role

Following the departure of Marina, it is with great regret that Bonde Do Role have had to cancel their Australian tour.
The band will no longer be continuing with the same format, and remaining members Pedro and Gorky are currently working hard to recruit another person.
Bonde Do Role have had an incredible year and have been through some unforgettable experiences together, and still remain friends. Gorky says: "we really are so sorry for canceling the shows and to disappoint our fans. We're gonna try to make it up to everyone as soon as we can".

What's wrong with beautiful girls? Part 1
Why are all beautiful girls that I know always late for meetings? Nástio and me had this crazy idea of inviting an Asian girl for our next show in Lisbon but the thing is that it's really difficult to meet Asian people and specially Asian girls. I didn't go to restaurants, I was afraid to find some kung fu father or brother so I decided to handle it professionally and started to look into all the model agencies, castings agencies and nada, I discovered some films done in Portugal with Chinese actresses but through them I couldn't find anyone. Then I remembered that not so long ago I went to a Hip Hop party and I saw an Asian girl with all the boys on top of her. I called one of those cats and finally got her phone number. Half Japanese and half German, born in brazil but living in Lisbon. Very kind and gentle on the phone, we decided to meet to talk about the idea of the show... All good, beside the 3 hours waiting!!!
I'm in Newcastle, UK touring with BSS. It's hard to keep this blog updated.

Stop Doing That!
I appreciate when the people come to us after the performance showing some love for our work. But there are some limits. If you love someone's work and you want them desperately to know that, please read this! Nobody likes to have this kind of conversations while they are at the toilet. I respect the love but man! Over there it's just me and my lil' (it's not that little but you know what i mean). Anyway, it's me and him going to this personal thing, we don't what to share this moment with anyone else, at least not with a stranger that comes to you after taking a piss and starts talking how great you are and on top of that, those guys love to shake your hand and when they notice you are holding something else they just touch your shoulder in other words, they clean or dry their hands on your t-shirt. I HATE THAT! me and every one else with common sense. PLEASE STOP DOING THAT!
