Tonight We Are Rocking Lisbon Again!
ENCHUFADA is introducing new music to the world. Macacos do Chines are the new members of the family. We just released their first cd single "Plutão" and to celebrate this we'll have a massive party tonight at Lux. The best club in Portugal and one of the best in Europe. Co-owned by John Malkovich and the guy that "invented" the lisbon night, Manuel Reis, showing the lisbon crowd how to club in style. We also gonna have a very good friend from London coming to party with us. The one and only Sinden. Buraka Djs will close the night, Yes! once again we gonna provide the ENCHUFADA experience to our loyal city. Check the last sessions here and don't forget to listen Sinden's show on Kiss FM. Tension!
I never was a person that followed sport. I don't really like football, I find interesting to watch a basketball match but not more than 15 min. I never was into, golf, tennis, F1 our Rallies, NADA! But I have to say as a Lisbon citizen and African, I got upset with the cancellation of the Lisbon Dakar 2008. Where will this war take us? Politics, Religion, now Sports and after that culture? Soon it will be impossible for artists to travel and to promote their craft abroad. It will be considered anti Islam to have artists like Maalouma or Youssou N'dour to perform in the west to an infidel audience.

Waiting for Ga.Lo
La.Ga is one of my favorite bags and I believe I was the first man to wear one in the streets. They took too long to come out with a male bag, so I had to make my own little move and customized one.
Produced in Portugal since 2003 by Krv Kurva you can find them in a few design stores worldwide or email them and ask where to get them. They are about to release the male version of the beg Ga.Lo very soon, that's why I'm on this article of Dam Magazine supporting their product. I would do it anyway!

Happy New Year
I was thinking what would be my first post for '08, I wanted to write something full of hope, deep and poetic... Nothing crossed my mind beside shoes, sneakers in particularly. I discovered very recently that I'm addicted to kicks! is not that I'm obsessed with it but I'm committed to this 3 consuming pleasures. Vinyl records, glasses (50's to 70's) and sneakers. Here are some of the latest news from the wonderful world of sapatilhas (portuguese slang for sneakers)
DC Shoes in association with Subtext will present a special exhibition titled Kicks late next month. The event will include a series of customized sneakers from an extensive artist list
Here's a look at a new Nike Court Force which according to Colmilludo is inpsired by a famous fish market in Japan called Niji Ichiba or Nijo Market.
2007 was a great year for Supra. Many of their models were instant hits among the streetwear crowd especially the Skytops which stood out from the rest.
