Nic Sarno is a DJ a Music Producer a Record label manager and a Multimedia Artist, and considered one of the founders of the italian’s new wave of electronic musicians, along with Crookers, The Bloody Beetroots and Congorock. His great passion for music and arts in general comes from very far. He starts buying records since the age of 9 and always explored different kinds of music. At the age of 13 he gets hold of his first turntables and start djing. Around his 15s starts to actively participate in the first illegal rave parties of the 90′s and at 17 years old he is the youngest dj to spin records in the Italian underground scene of that period.

His interest for Arts, witnessed by his study at the Brera’s Academy of Fine Arts in Milan, and attention on new sounds as a Dj, involve him in various projects. Some of this are the musical collective The Love Supreme, born in 2003, conceived along with his friends Sapo and Robi Di Movi, and the Label ESP Records, created in 2006 and quickly becamed a reference in the underground dance scene, producing tracks from Crookers, Hijack, Trevor Loveys, Congorock, His Majesty Andre, Bombaman, Mikix The Cat, Douster and Nic itself off course.

In 2008 his remix for Tommie Sunshine, released on Marc Romboy’s label Alphabet City, the Ep Elephant, for Hijack’s label Jack Union and his ep Hot Jack have made a big splash into the scene worldwide and since than Nic is spinning records all over the globe. In the same year, Nic’s become a part of the MAC MAC Agency along with Crookers, Bloody Beetroots, Congorock, His Majesty Andre. He has remixed tracks for Redman, one of the biggest name in the HipHop scene off all time, the electro collective Steed Lord, the american hardcore band All Leather for Steve Aoki’s Dim Mak and the french techno phenomeno Brodinski for Fatboy Slim’s label Southern Fried.

His recent works include a collab with Crookers on the track BOXER for the million’s selling game Grand Theft Auto, a remix for the kuduru masters Buraka Som Sistema for Fabric Records and for CLP, the new project of Chris De Luca from Funkstörung (Boys Noize Rec). In 2010 it’s also come out the long awaited debut album New Millenium Freaks from The Love Supreme on UK’s Tirk Records allready supported by Rough Trade, an EP with Bok Bok and Douster on the Buraka Som Sistema’s label Enchufada and rmxs for Crookers, Soulwax and Mixhell.

He has played, amongst many others venue, for Bugged Out! in London, at the Social Club in Paris, at Lux in Lisbon, in Barcelona for Sonar Festival, for the italian tour of Mad Decent Soundsystem with the man of the moment and Grammy winner Diplo and was selected as opening act for The Chemical Brothers recent set in Milano at Magazini Generali. His tracks was featured also on UK’s BBC1, Mixmag, NME, XLR8R, DJMag, The Fader, RCRDLBL, Trax Magazine, Fact, Discobelle, MTV Iggy, Rolling Stones Magazine, and compilation like I Love Techno and Fabriclive.
