YOUTHLESS

Youthless are Alex Klimovitsky, drums, synthesizer and vocals, and Sebastiano Ferranti, bass and vocals, a duo who spends time between Lisbon and London, where they recorded the project’s debut album, “Telemachy”, at Rory Brattwell’s studio, of Test Icicles fame.

They are know as the two foreigners, the American and the Englishman who can’t live without the Portuguese coast, since they first landed on Lisbon. The former members of Three and a Quarter are now active in this new project, which could be called an intense rhythmic duel, fought with all kinds of weird instruments the guys collected since they were fifteen years old.

They resort to using several different amplifiers plugged at the same time with different sounds, switching between them to simulate new sounds and textures, giving the band its unique and unmistakeable sound.

Youthless are already being recognized as part of the avant-garde elite of the dance/garage rock scene of London, New York and Lisbon, the musicians’ three hometowns.

Having toured profusely, Youthless has played in several important venues and festival stages, such as Coliseu de Lisboa and Coliseu do Porto (Portugal’s two most prestigious concert halls), Casa da Música (Porto), Optimus Alive Festival (Lisbon), Factory (London) and Notting Hill Arts Club (London), just to name a few.
