Lisbon-based producer and DJ Rastronaut, who you may have heard playing a selection of bass-heavy tracks on the early hours of several Hard Ass Sessions, released a two-track EP on a deep dubstep tip on the Barcelona label BASAL last Monday. ‘Legba EP’ features a dark and minimalistic take on the UK genre, as well as a more percussive number filled with reggae references, finally rounding things up with a gritty remix by Shcuro, taking things further into gritty techno territory.
