After releasing Savage Skulls’ wild ‘No.1 Spot EP’ back in February and watching the riots it caused on bass-hungry crowds all over the world, we knew we had to revisit these banging tunes by means of an extreme remix EP. So we picked up the Swedish duo’s amazing tracks ‘No.1 Spot’ and ‘Lorimer’ and contacted four impressive production teams to work their magic on these dancefloor bombs, and the results will be released on July 23rd.

For the first reworking of ‘Lorimer’ we have the Canadian power duo Botnek, who already had delivered a booty-shaking remix of Buraka‘s ‘(We Stay) Up All Night’ and established themselves as one of our go-to producers for quality peak-time dancefloor wreckers. Staying true to form, the guys from up north turn the original into more of a kuduro-influenced electro banger, providing that much needed fuel for late-night hands-in-the-air madness.

Brazilian dance music institution Mixhell are up next, proving their legendary status once again by turning ‘Lorimer’ into an epic and growing techno-influenced anthem, filled with warm bass, all kinds of bleeps and lazers, and otherwordly synths. If anyone could see the beautiful side of such a nasty banger, it could only be them.

Stockholm-born and London-based Peo de Pitte‘s remix for ‘No.1 Spot’ advocates big-room beats and crazy synths from out of space, nicely complementing the original with a funkier edge and a lot of breaks. We’re pretty sure we’ll be hearing much more from this exciting upcoming producer.

Finally we have New Zealand brothers Chaos In The CBD, who churn out a vibrant and sophisticated version of ‘No.1 Spot’, filled with skittering percussion, big bass and tropical flavor, closing off this exciting remix EP in a lighthearted and danceable manner.

So now that you have an idea of what’s coming up on July 23rd, just sit back and relax as you wait for Enchufada‘s next killer release to drop on all the main digital retailers. See you soon!
